PCSL PRACTICAL TARGET (2025+ version) (CB) (100 Target Pack) ****FREE SHIPPING****

Introducing the PCSL PRACTICAL TARGET, the most up-to-date target variant of the Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL), alongside its variants, the PCSL MINI PRACTICAL TARGET and PCSL COMPETITION TARGET.

As the NEW STANDARD TARGET for PCSL beginning in 2025, the PCSL PRACTICAL TARGET includes a few changes that elevate it to an even higher status when used to measure practical shooting ability:

  • Separation of the A and T zones reduce the possibility of lucky hits, forcing competitors to decide which zone to engage.

  • Reduction of the A and T zones allows competitors with stronger fundamentals to better pull ahead in the scores.

  • Re-alignment of scoring zones provides a massively more interesting set of hardcover target presentations to enhance difficulty.

  • Hardcover alignment notches make taping off consistent hardcover presentations a breeze, saving match setup crews valuable time.

In PCSL matches, the brown side indicates a handgun target while the white side indicates a carbine target. Penalty targets, or No-Shoots, are solid red with a black “X” marking (also available HERE).

The PCSL Practical Target is typically scored using the Points Per Second (Hit Factor) method. Competitors’ scores are calculated by the points they shot, minus penalties, divided by the time it took them to complete the course of fire. Hits in the A Zone earn 5 points, C Zone hits earn 3 points, and D Zone hits earn 1 point. A hit in the T Zone is equivalent to two A zone hits, scoring the full 10 points available with a single shot.

Beyond PCSL matches, the PCSL Practical Target offers versatile applications:

  • QUALITY MATERIALS: Durable 200 LB./C-FLUTE cardboard

  • HIGHER STANDARD OF MARKSMANSHIP: Reduced A, C, and D zone sizes demand superior marksmanship.

  • MULTIGUN APPLICATIONS: Ideal for 3-Gun and Multigun time-plus scored events, the addition of the T zone allows for a more challenging single-shot neutralization.

  • MILITARY AND LEO APPLICATIONS: The target's scoring zones more closely measure real-world lethality than other practical shooting target options, enhancing training effectiveness.

The PCSL Practical Target measures approximately 18” wide by 24” tall, with the A Zone measuring 6” wide by 9” tall (nice).
